Origin Nile Films is the creative and business model of Nicole D. Parker , Jibril
Haynes and Vladimir LaFortune. Established 10 years ago, their first film 'Get Yours', earned the
company's first directorial award _ the Roxbury Film Festival. Origin Nile worked on their first
feature film, The Plague', winner of the best actor category _ the Pan African Film Festival in
Cannes, France. Also "Humans in Traffic", winner of the audience award the following year.
Origin Nile's credits include directing training videos for Harvard University, Boston and
Cambridge medical Centers, Boston Health Commission, Boston Public Schools, 'Cyber saftey'
campaign, Turner Broadcasting summer initiative and many more. After relocaing to Atlanta Ga.
they have been busy filming webisodes, commercials and a feature documentary about the
iconic Earl Lloyd.
